Here I aim to have created a piece that reflects the domestic household, but with the bare exposed materials I draw the viewers attention to what a home is. Just four walls and a roof which is loaded with emotional response and feeling. I have been casting bricks in different materials to remove some of the imagery of the London Brick.

No Working Title Exhibition

This has been an on going project between a selection of Bath School of Art and Design students, Norwich and Winchester students. It has resulted in a touring exhibition which opens this Monday at Bath Spa Sion Hill campus. We have been working hard all week to show through display of our work the process we went through to create the artworks. The work was created from a set of instructions designed by your partner (mine was Rhona Gedge at Norwich School of Art and Design) and visa versa. It questioned ownership, was my work really mine if it had been instructed by another person? It has been a long week but now the show is set up and looking good. Come along to see a non-conventional exhibition with interesting collaborative work.

I think it about time to update this thing...

I have been so rubbish recently with updating this. After having a lovely Summer I came back to the studios to the shock of being moved to BA Fine Art Sculpture. For some people who look at this blog it will be evident why this happened but for me it was an absolute mind meltdown. I have been pottering around since then wandering into the painting studios, thinking "I wish I was there" and been attempting to stay true to my own practice setting up a table in sculpture and painting and drawing every day. But now there has been a turning point. I will upload my more recent works and would like to see what you think. They are sculptures created from photography and drawings and then have sound recordings over the top.
