First Day of Term 11/01/2011

Work that is not complete yet from last term but I intend to push forward. I have a few ideas to continue with the light frame structures like the ones for breakfast club and the cube living unit above, but also want to play with making more blocks out of MDF and seeing if I can recreate the feeling of simple architecture.

Breakfast Club 17/12/2010

This collaborative exhibition was concerned with Site/Space/Place/Location. I responded directly to the site by making wooden frames the size of the windows in the space and attached them to the wall. Notions of fragility and frames were discussed. I realised by being more ambitious with scale it pays off and enjoyed the structures gorky appearance in the gallery space. Consider now if I go even more ambitious with scale pushing the structure to its limits.
